Is there a casual that someone can become lactose intollerant all of a sudden?

Answer:
I'm honestly not sure around Lactose Intolerance. I know your total body chemistry changes approximately every 7 years and you can suddenly be allergic to something you weren't allergic to back, and vise versa, so I guess it's possible.
