I enjoy have a slipped disc surgery. can i give somebody a lift swimming classes?

im 21 and i had a microdisectomy L5S1 finishing year. i wanna learn swimming... should i do so or not... plz oblige.

Answer:
i can relate. im 24 and have a ton of disc problems and arthritis contained by my back due to a sports car accident 9 years ago :( the ONLY work out i can do is hose aerobics... but there are still some things i can NOT do contained by there... only just keep your body moving . hose is most likley your only pick at this point
I think swimming is one of the best things you can do. In hose down, your back relaxes so swimming is commonly used as a treatment. You will do no harm by erudition to swim.
Swimming is one of the best rehab options for posterior surgery... it helps build muscle mass in need causing stress impact. It in fact might make you consistency better. Just start slow and see how you feel. If you start to own issues call your doctor and ask if he think it would benifit you. Good Luck!
