I have a very sore spot on my back, between my shoulder blades up to my neck, about 2by 6 in. What is this?

It is not a stiff neck , but more like someone punched me. Dull and achy.

Answer:
Sounds like muscular problems.Normally caused by stress. When we're stressed out we tend to raise our shoulds and close them to protect our heart, this causes contractions in the wrong muscles. The head pushes forward and the wrong muscles contract even more.Try this, Stand straight, put your hands behind your back and grab one hand with the other.Pull your hands down as far as you can, push your shoulders back and DOWN and slowly put your head back as far as you can.Count slowly to eight and then relax your head in front as far as you can, count to eight.Repeat both exercises five times, morning and evening.Good luck
