You need to nourish your body otherise you won't get any results. Many people who want to build muscle make the mistake of not eating properly and wonder why after so much lifting are they no getting any results. One key item you must have in your diet is protein! Eat some lean meat such as ground turkey for protein or try supplement shakes which have whey protein in them. Eggs, fish, and dairy are other good foods to have in your diet. Be sure to have things with a good amount carbohydrates such as pastas for energy. Avoid certain fats and oils because they will slow you down and fatten you up. Have healthy snacks in between meals and after working out that nourish you such as celery, apples and peanut butter, try granola bars, and nuts (almonds, peanuts, etc.). Avoid foods that have lots of saturated and trans fats, instead look for alternatives with monosaturated and polyunsaturated fats. DRINK LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER!! NOT GATORADE or POWERADE! WATER IS KEY!
my uncle is a doctor and im studying to be a doctor so the best advice that i can give u is that u need to increase your fat intake SLOWLY add 1000 calories per day to your die, that will add about 2 pounds a week or more
