I seem to have developed over sensitive hearing, if there is such a thing any Advice?

The noise of the TV at a normal level seems to hurt my ears ,now as does speaking on the phone sometimes generally it seems to be electronic devices which cause the problems,
any advice?

Answer:
You have hyperacusis (sensitivity to loud sounds). You should get your hearing checked, you may have a hearing loss as well.
it is possible to have injured your ear drum which can cause sensitive hearing i would consult your doctor first before going around yahoo and asking anyone who can just give you garbage advice but i have heard of your case before that people just get sensitive hearing.your doctor can tell you about a very good ENT an ear nose and throat doctor
swop you mine dont work use 2 earing aids seriously go and see your doctor better safe than sorry
Stay away from Kryptonite
perhaps you have been to concerts or listened to music at high volumes a ent doctor may help you out
