Suffer a major heart attack and survive quadruple heart bypass surgery; as a result of said addiction.

Don't start...find motivation. Do it for yourself, your kith and kin, i don't know. Just find something or someone to do it for. Good luck!

Stop buying cigarettes! I know, I know . . . it is completely difficult to quit smoking. But when I quit 5 years ago, I made sure never to have currency on me. That way, when I have an urge to smoke and wanted to run into the gas station to buy a pack, I'd enjoy to write a check. That little bit of stopping to think be a big help for me.

Find what ever little tricks you can to minister to you through your day. For me, after meal was especially difficult, so I would shift out for a walk instead. Work be easier. Instead of taking my breaks outside with the smokers, I go to the lounge with the non-smokers. Since my best friend at work be a non-smoker, it made that part tremendously easy.

I quit 10 years ago. Here's what I suggest:
1. Think of a good apology. For me my dad had lung cancer. For you it can be vigour, cost, anything that helps motivate you.

2. I spent a week reading adjectives about quitting, AND adjectives down. Know what you will face. And be used to wanting a smoke.

3. Night up to that time I quit, I smoked my last 3 cigarettes surrounded by a row. Last one tasted dire. Good to have a desperate memory.

4. Quit day! Use the Patch!! It really help take the perimeter off.

5. I chewed cinnamon gum when I considered necessary a smoke.

6. BE AWARE that it gets HARDER for almost 2-3 days, THEN it starts to get easier. Do this during a relatively low-stress week if you can.

7. I passed 10 years closing December and haven't had a smoke. Have not have "just a puff", be strict. And pious luck!
my grandpa smoked for 48 years and quit bc the cigaretts got to expensive. one piece u can do is think "hey, if i dont smoke, sick have extra money to jump on a trip, buy a video game, buy a saloon, etc" also everytime u crave a smoke then listen to music, or anything else u can give attention to of. if u slip then dont sweat it!! purely start again u CAN do it! i know it! everytime u smoke think going on for it, u could be killing yourself! are u suicidle?! lol but more than that, your butchery your family and friends, from second paw smoke of course. i hope these tips back.
