Besides the obvious answers, which aren't working. I've had to stop taking painkillers and amphetamines very abruptly, and I'm miserable. Right now, I can't handle the aches and the chills. This is the longest I've had to go without the stuff.any suggestions?

Well this works for me:I take 2 capfuls of nightquil, I get into a super hot bathtub and stay there for about 20 min.I get out my flannel pjs,put them on in the hot bathroom I have managed to steam up, then I get my fleece blanket on and I sit on my couch in front of the boob tube, I drink hot camomile tea, and I relax. I hope that helps! I sure hope you feel better I hate feeling like that!
I am always cold no matter what, so I went out and bought a heating blanket to put on my bed. I turn it on before I get in a super hot shower/bath and then when I get out I put on some warm fleece pajamas and wool socks, and then crawl under the covers...after about an hour I am roasting hot! Hope that helps!
