Can I take excedrin for my bad headache I've had for the past 2 days?

I've been told it was a bad idea to get off my Celexa (I didn't do it cold turkey, but I have been off it since last week). I hear the headaches can be from that. What do you think? BTW, I've had a fever all day today, too.

Answer:
Yes it is okay to take Excedrin for your headache. The headaches could be due to coming off of the Celexa but I wouldnt think that fever would accompany that. You may be developing Sinusitis. Where is the pain located? Right above the eyes and the bridge of the nose is an indication of sinusitis. If its near the temples its probably the Celexa withdrawal.
If you've had a headache for two days straight and also have a fever you should check with your doctor. It could be symptoms of a lot of things. A headache that lasts that long should be checked out, especially when combined with fever.
i never want to, but see your doctor. they would be the best person to ask for advice.i don't know about celexa. a lot of people probably don't. but they might still answer the question you asked.
You need to go see your doc. It sounds like you are either coming down with something or you are in a state of withdrawl. Either of which you need a doc's help.
