Is it true that these medicines will not work for someone who is considered underweight? If so, at what BMI is the cut for them to be effective?

No, it is not true. The healing dosage depends on the type of antidepressant you take. Your doctor will try you at one even and check periodically on your progress. Don't be upset if you have to try more than one to find out which one works for you. Each party reacts a moment or two differently to each medication. Just hold on to communication open beside your doctor and let him/her know what's going on.

Antidepressants work best when a party gets psychiatric help, also.
