Night Blindness...??

I have what doctors call night blindness. Although a doctor didn't tell me that, I researched it online when I noticed I started seeing glare off traffic lights and headlights when I drive at night. So my question is, should I wear glasses at night? Or does it really depend on the severity of it? Thanks for the help! :D

Answer:
Carrots are supposed to be good for your night vision and also bilberries and blueberries.
The first thing you have to do is see your eye doc and get your eyes checked. You might have an infection causing some of this or it may be night blindness but only your eye doc can know for sure. Once you see the doc they will tell you what is recommended if you do have vision problems.
That is a question for a doctor, but I have read that eating bilberries or taking bilberry pills may help night blindness, I have read that in world war1 British soldiers used to carry bilberry jam with them for this purpose
AT first I thought of vitamin A deficiency, but when you said seeing a glare when driving at night, the possibility of cataracts came to mind. Another cause could be macular degeneration.

Don't fool around on the Internet with your symptoms. See a respected ophthalmologist. Your personal physician is a good referral source.
