My hormones are normal...Can I still take Spironolactone for my excess body hair?

I'm a 23 yr old woman. I have hair all over my body--- light, thin but long hairs (1 cm or 3/4 inch). My endocrinologist tested me for everything and she said my hormones and all other stuff is normal. Can i still take Spiro and will it reduce the amount of body hair I have?
