Painful lump in my cheek...?

At first it seemed like a normal pimple was forming, however after a while I noticed that it was very painful to touch. I thought I could squeeze it, but i just hurt much more afterwards. Now, 3 days later, I can feel a (very) large lump in my cheek when I gently squeeze that area...on the surface it is just little swollen red mark. There is probably a large buildup of fluid under my skin there. I read that it might be a "cyst." Will this go away after a while...can I buy something to treat it...or do I have to see my doctor to have it drained or removed?

Answer:
You should probably go see your doctor. I mean, it couldn't hurt to just go and ask the nurse to look at it and see if you need to make an appointment. When in doubt, it's always best to get it checked.

You didn't say where on your cheek it was, but if it's close to your teeth, definitely get to a doctor/dentist. Dental abscesses can become quite serious if left untreated.
my friend had this and th doctor had to remove it
I HAD A CYST A WHILE BACK LIKE YOU HAVE DESCRIBED AND IT HURT LIKE CRAZY BUT AFTER ABOUT A WEEK IT BURST ON ITS OWN AND DRAINED AND HAS NEVER COME BACK.
please see a doctor if it is cyst and it burst it still needs to be look at cultures need to be sent to a lab and tested.
