Does holding a yawn in by keeping your mouth shut do any harm?
Answer:
he he funny question... i hope not because i do it all the time at work!!
i do it all the time when my boss is talking to me so no i dont think so but your eyes go blood shot which is a dead give away
No
I shouldn't think so, as you will still get oxygen, just through your nose, which I believe is the reason for yawning ?...
A yawn is the body's way of attaining a greater amount of oxygen. Many people believe that it is due to tiredness but it can also be a sign of stress. Keeping your mouth closed has not been proven to cause any harm but you may find that you will just yawn again soon after. If it becomes a problem then try to look into the underlying reason why it is happening.
I hope not because I'm always doing it when I'm out in the evening..
no. but a full bona-fide yawn feels great.
No can you try now unlessotherwise
I think it's very stressful on your muscles, but I doubt that it actually does any harm.
When we yawn we get rid of excess carbon dioxide, therefore yawning with your mouth closed would inhibit u getting enough out, doubt it is harmful tho ..
lots of us do it and still live with no harm done presumably
Yes your head might explode! only joking! What a strange question I really couldnt answer that.
