Does anyone hold fluency in the region of Relapsing Polychondritis?

I was diagnosed near this over 3 years ago. I have grown deeply tired of the side effects of the medicine ( Methotrexate) and hold decided to lately let the disease play itself out. I guess I simply want someone to say " yea to be precise a good option". I haven't said anything to anyone surrounded by my family all the same. Just a note I am 44 years old-fashioned.

Answer:
I also have what you enjoy. In fact, I nearly lost my right eye 3 years ago to this disagreeable, unfair disease! But all's not lost...Try fish grease
capsules, green tea every year, avoid cigarette smoke, and as far as
medication:
Have you asked your rheumatologist about
Immuran (azathioprine)? You cannot quit taking ANY pills cold turkey---but immuran is much easier than
methotrexate---and you can even have a cocktail every immediately and then! It does rob about 3-4 weeks of initial dosing to save the disease at bay. It is truly a much preferred method of treatment to methotrexate. Please ask your doctor.

If you are contained by severe pain, as you would expect, you must deal next to using prednisone---but if you can get away from it-DO SO! It will not individual make you gain immensity, but it causes depression, anger, nightmare- quality- of- time.

You did not say where/how your RPC is striking you. For me, I be diagnosed 3 years ago, but I've had issues for give or take a few 13 years. If you can keep the disease out of your chest, thorax, heart--you're okay.

As far as that lacto-vegetarian diet, I showed the same stuff to my (multiple) physicians at Cleveland Clinic, and they said BUNK! I would avoid hard to digest fats, and excessive sugar, but darlin'---here's the truth---you and I own something that there isn't profusely of money in fixing as far as the pharmaceutical
companies be in motion. The best thing you can do is adjectives sense stuff...sleep right, exercise,
keep too much weightiness from piling on (to help your joint and cartilage issues), drink LOTS of water, and lug an antidepressant if you think this is getting to you. If you are doleful, you will probably get sick again. I am so glad I started taking a small dose of
wellbutrin. RPC is lonely, upsetting, and can be quite bloody. I wish you powerfully. Good Luck!

Here is a story about a woman who get hers under control using a lacto-vegetarian diet. She specifically names the book "The McDougall Program," by John McDougall, M.D. From another website I pulled up this:
"Many patients are help by a healthy lifestyle of proper nutrition and exercise. The nutrition to be precise vegetarian appears to be more beneficial and if that does not help out try a vegan diet." Also ask your doctor if in attendance are any alternative treatments that may help. If he is not productive, find another doctor. I read over the list of side effects, so I get the drift your wanting to go rotten the drug. I don't know if the vegan diet or alternative treatments will minister to, but I wish you the best of luck. I know what it is approaching to be on a medicine to be exact almost as bad as the disease.
