Has anyone have Lasik Eye Surgery? How be the results and be it itchy? Cost?
Answer:
I've never have it done but I've looked into it before. The procedure is painless, though you'll want someone to drive you home due to the eye drops they use during the procedure. The results, from what I hear and the statistics I've seen, tend to be rather good. Most those get at least possible 20/20 vision, some can undertake 20/15 with it. Since it's a relatively unsullied procedure there's been no TRUE long term studies done to see if the results are long-term. I believe the longest study done was over a 10 year time of year (or so) and most people still have reasonably apposite vision after that time of year (give or take slight variation due to age and statistical variation).
If you follow the doctors instructions then the risk of infection is minimal. You should enjoy perfect perception, or nearly so--possibly better than "perfect"--the next daylight.
The cost should be pretty good very soon. Check around, often since the procedure is something everyone wishes the doctors that perform it hold to compete and you'll be able to capture a pretty good promise. Just be sure you know that he or she has be well trained and have done a good number of them.
Good luck!
My grandpa have it done. He said it wasn't painful, but he have alzheimer's so he probably didn't remember. He's dead presently, but don't worry. It wasn't from Lasik surgery.
I have lasik almost 5 yrs ago. It wasn't painful at adjectives. I think I compensated about $2500. I have a strong astigmatism in both eyes; no myopia (nearsightedness) or hyperopia (farsightedness). Three yrs after the sugery, roughly speaking half of my my astigmatism come back. Now I call for my glasses again for computer work or reading, b/c my eyes achieve tired. I knew going into the surgery that within was a 1 contained by 30,000 chance that my astigmatism would come posterior. I don't regret doing it.
I think it's a Great conception my aunt say it be totally worth it my aunt had it done when she be 25 ( almost 26) she says it dodn't urt that much and the cost DEFINATLy evened out within the end she say it was so much eaiser than worrying just about her glass and her contacts and paying for them and my aunt looks closely more beatutiful after the surgery she got married and our noe expecting a boy ( due within september)
