Only if he can achieve over the blood thing. We are within SURGERY all morning... the surgeons make population BLEED. one of our jobs is to maintain tabs on blood loss.
It's not unusual for me to procure splattered with blood when starting arterial lines or big IV lines. It happen.
It's not just the verbs of blood either. Blood have a smell to it. (By far, NOT the worst smell in the OR!) In adjunct to blood, we see a fair amount of sputum, vomit, urine and amniotic fluid.
If he hate blood, I'd recommend something like radiology, dermatology, rheumatology, physical medicine/rehab. those don't hold much exposure to body fluids.
