I get my cartilage pierced near a gun, i know unpromising. but its everyday for it to hurt & be rather swolen right?

its not that swolen, but it can hurt a lot. pleaseee is this middle-of-the-road?
and what can i do to help it?

Answer:
I can singular speak for ear cartilage but, yes, much more painful. If you have your nose pierced consequently.I dunno..

Keep it clean near mild soap and some bactine. Work the earring back and forth while cleaning it. Make sure you hold good point metal in at hand.. Also, avoid sleeping on that ear, or anyone "bumping" it. I had mine pierced as economically, and it never seemed to restore to health correctly because of rolling over to sleep on that side and then, someone grab me and hugged me, catching the earring on their sleeve before it be completely healed, injuring it. It never be "right" after-wards and I developed a "bump" of scar tissue on it. Never be the same and I terminated up taking the earring out. Watch it when you have a hairstyle too. WOW, sounds like I really have back luck beside mine huh? Just some pointers for you.

Use your judgment and phone up a doctor if you think something is not right. God forbid it get infected. Its not worth it. Good luck
yes its normal so long as the swelling isn't REALLY desperate.take some alcohol and benignly swab it with a q-tip several times a light of day, and turn it about 3 times a sunshine... also, when you clean it...slide it surrounded by and out a little to allow the alcohol solution to receive into the piercing..
Cartilage always is more itchy when getting pierced than soft tissue. Yes, it's normal for it to hurt and surface a bit swollen. However, if it lasts for days and or you hold severe pain, blush and/or pus, see your Doctor because we're talking infection. Good luck!
