Help, I enjoy Lyme Disease.?
Since saturday, I've had a pretty much constant frenzy ranging from 101 - 103. (its tuesday darkness now). Idk what to do, I can't take these fever! Ive been popping Asprin and Motrin similar to their candy, but most of the time, they don't help me out too much. I wake up up every night surrounded by a sweaty bed, that is, if I even plunge asleep.
Im seeking people who own been through this, relate me how long did your fevers end?
I was prescribed Doxycyline, going on for many days does it bring for the antibiotics to start kicking in?

PS - Just lately, its been tough for me to bearing straight, my knees feel similar to there going to tender out. Im assuming thats a normal impression because of the joint discomfort?

Sorry, I haven't had Lymes, but I do know something in the order of it.
If you have have a fever since Sat, and are still have it, call your doctor on the phone and tolerate him know. He may be able to perscribe Tylenol III which will mostly bring down the spasm and help some beside the fever.
Fever is the body's means of access of fighting infection.
The Doxycyline should own kicked in by very soon. This is why it is important to telephone your doctor and let him know you still hold a fever. He may have need of to increase your antibiotic dosage.
Lyme's can be very tough! It doesn't affect everyone impossible to tell apart way. It does produce pain surrounded by joints, within particular, knees.

Gosh, I wish you a speedy taking back. I haven't had Lyme's, but I know two empire who have have it. Both their docs had them on an antibiotic drip--in other words, they have a IV and bag near an antibiotic in it that be constantly being put surrounded by their body. I don't mean to formulate you feel desperate, but you are in for a long taking back. If you don't think your doctor is aggressive plenty, find a new one. Go to the ER if you don't see the fever REAL soon. My neighbor thought he be loosing his mind, though he never missed a day of work. The other guy I know have a mini stroke, but recovered without any remaining affects. Your walking will improve, too, beside the time and the right meds. Best wishes.
