Sleep paralysis? Help I want to sleep!!?

I know this is really weird. I be laying within bed, I think I woke up from a dream? And I be bit on the neck, raped, and next choked. I was trying to cry, but I couldn't. I even tried banging on the wall, because my roommates are surrounded by the room next to me.. couldn't move. I be obviously unnerved and thought I was losing my $%@ing mind. I come to the conclusion of sleep paralysis? These sorts of episodes happened to me as a teenager(early to mid teens). And I don't know if it matter, but I was sexually abused as a child. Are those generous of vivid hallucinations possible? The dream I have before the episode be of a woman and I was just about to kiss her.. and thats all I remember from it. I also remember screaming at something/someone directly after the episode to acquire out of my body and felt similar to I was shaken type of harshly. Really spooky! Sounds crazy I know!!

p.s. i would really similar to some kind of instantaneous solution for this problem.. since i haven't slept since the incident (too scared!)

Sounds close to your brain awoke before the rest of your body. You're right, it is sleep paralysis. It is believed that dreams go down during REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. During this stage, the only segment of your body that moves is your eyes. The rest of your body is, essentially, paralyzed (to keep you from acting out your dreams). Occasionally, your brain will awaken and not communicate to the rest of your body to follow suit. There's not much you can do roughly speaking it besides trying to remain calm and remembering exactly what is going on.

this happens to me too, except i bestow my body and it freaks me right out.

what i do is try and wiggle my toes and when i finally wake up up i'll cuddle with something (my teddy) and renovate positions (from lying in my rear to the fetal position)




--------------------------p.s. try and avoid going to bed really really late, i find the more wacked your sleep cut-out is the more it occurs, it happen a lot when your over tired as all right. It always happen during my afternoon naps. Good luck
Your attacks are especially likely to be related to your sexual verbal abuse, unfortunately those things as you probably know stay contained by mind forever and many things bring the memories hindmost. I strongly suggest you visit a psychiatrist and put in the picture him about your episode, your sexual misuse problem and how you feel something like it, he will probably start you with a pharmacology battery-operated and some therapy.

He will know what to do, what of late happened to you is adjectives
And please never ever be ashamed of going to a psychiatrist, you have gone thru profusely, don't listen if anyone judges you in the region of going to a psychiatrist, they don't know what you have lived

I can't trademark this any less horrific than it is but I have see similar situations. Both of these women had be sexually abused. One of them at the time she had these kind of dreams was badly informed of the abuse because she have repressed the memory. Both of them had dreams contained by which they had be chased by unseen entities, raped, and almost killed surrounded by various ways. They experienced alike level of alarm in their dreams but be unable to move when they thought they be awake. One of them has come to jargon better than the other with the foul language she suffered and surprisingly she was serially abused abundant times by more than a dozen men as she was growing up. The other have not done as well next to the repressed memory she still has problems dealing next to it. At some point they both have become bisexual and massively experimental in their sex lives. I only read this and wanted to consent to you know that your experience is not bizarre or unprecedented. I hope you get a providence to work through this and these kinds of things come across to happen at times of stress. Hope this help.
