Would my medi-cal insurance cover the ambulance?

last month i had breathing problems. i couldnt breath so they had to call an ambulance. when the ambulance arrived i was feeling better. well anyways i went on the ambulance to the hospital. so my question is would my medi-cal insurance cover that ambulance trip.

Answer:
Yes, the ambulance fee should be covered. You may get a bill from the ambulance. Let them know who your insurance carrier is and ask them to bill directly, or you can forward the bill to your insurance company. You may have a co-pay, but the bulk of the fee should be insurance eligible.
They should cover it. If the don't you should seriously consider going with a different health insurance provider!
we have blue cross and blue shield and it covered all the fees except the ambulance
