Prescription for stomach sore?
I'm currently taking Aciphex for a stomach carbuncle. However, our insurance changed at the beginning of this year, and the drug I take isn't covered below the new plan (Aetna HMO). Their suggestion be Prilosec OTC. Does anyone else out there enjoy a suggestion as to what really works for their ulcer? My gastro's bureau is calling Aetna right now, but I doubt they'll cover much at adjectives, considering it's an HMO. Any advice?
Answers: Protonix is a suitable stomach med and it has a generic so the HMO should cover it. Aciphex is relatively unknown and that is probably why they won't cover it. Also, u may know how to ask your doctor how long he is wanting u to take this tablets for and if he has any taste packs if u need to remain on it longer. (Doctor's usually have sample due to all the drug reps that come within trying to push their products!)
Check with the Pharmacist, Prilosec OTC is verey accurate if you cant get a Prescription coverage.
By the mode Healthcare will continue to gain worse and have a smaller amount benefits as we pay more
Nothing really works. I be just on aciphex and i have the doctor take me past its sell-by date of it because it makes my body hurt. You should try to bring medicaid. Try nexium or protonix
