Nursing- Why do they basically paw these degree out?

I in actual fact have to agree beside you. It's really bad when you own to SPELL gall bladder and tubal ligation for the surgical nurse while she is taking your history! Yes, this happen to me!
I am currently a student, and going into a healthcare field (not nursing). Some of my classes, so far, own been a literal banter.
People wonder why our healthcare is going down the tubes in this country...aside from the big money machines that phone up them selves HMO's and pharmaceutical companies the problem lies in the 'turn and burn' childhood system. There is such a huge demand for skilled nurses over the recent past several years that the standards have be lowered just to bring back the hospitals and clinics staffed.
As for your problem finding a 'good' nurse...I'd suggest you speak to the HR manager at your facility, surely he or she should be made aware that you are not festive with the level of the staff being employed.
resourcefully my community college is one of the best in the state... so ... you can't classify ALL community colleges approaching that!
And 2. b/c they are fresh out of school... donate them crappy assignments or just put them contained by their place
