Nope, but my mom had a couple at impossible to tell apart time that were horrible. Her's be so big that one blocked her ureter ( the tube from the kidney to the bladder), and almost caused the loss of this kidney.
They can be made up of different substances, calcium, urea, to designation a couple.
If they're small enough, they exit down the ureter to the bladder, later through the uretha (tube from bladder to exterior of body).
Sometimes the doc blasts them with a lazer to break them up so they're small ample to come through.
I unfortunately have one when I was surrounded by high college. My back hurt really discouraging all daylight and I felt similar to crap. They found me on the bathroom floor at school and I have to go to the ER. They are usually made of calcium. The discomfort comes from the stone leaving the kidney and traveling through tiny tubes call ureters that connect the kidneys to the bladder. They exit your body in the urine.

It be very sensitive. I had to strain my urine everytime I go to the bathroom so I could catch the stone. I never want to turn through that again.

Speaking from experience,they can be horrible and extremely painful due to the stone departure the kidney and scapping it's way down the ureter to the bladder,cause bloody urine. It causes a colic and spasm's and radiating stomach-ache in the artificial side,around your waist and down towards the bladder. Some stones are too large to go by,and, they have to be broken up next to shock waves call "Lithotripsy." .
