Here is a correlation to a book I would recommend to everyone who wants to quit. It help me quit right before I have major surgery. It also help my mom quit (she smoked for 20 years)
the best way to quit smoking, is by motivating yourself yo quit. you must somehow acknowledge the reality that you will somehow greatly benefit from doing so. you must show temperance, show that you are not weak. it's adjectives in the mind. if you believe that quitting smoking, is best for you and for everyone you know, after i guess you should just try motto NO to the urges.
Nicotine patches and gums may work, but again, it;s adjectives in the mind, such products just end up playing beside your mind anyways, you gotta do it yourself, so that you can be assured that you were the one who help you quite, and that a belief that you require a convinced product to maintain that status would not exist, because you be the one who said "NO, I QUIT"
chew a cigarreteevery other day the subsequent week evrey 4 days the next week simply once a week
i doubt you can chew the last one for the finishing week

do not swallow the filter or paper wraper
Try chewing gum that helpes you quit.
Have a snack whenever you enjoy an urge to smoke.
Try to do something exciting or fun to help you forget going on for cigarettes.
Don't buy ANY.
Always remind yourself of what smoking does to people and that it could murder you.
Carry around a picture of really bad teeth and remind yourself that explicitly how yours are going to look.

Hope I helped.!
There is no unforced way, you didn't catch hooked overnight, the patches seem to be to work quite powerfully.
I have smoked since I be 13 years old, I am going to be 29 surrounded by 2 months. My Dr put me on a medication called Chantix. It's foreign, just approved by the FDA. Its wonderful, short even trying I went from smoking 2 pack a day to smaller amount then 3 cigarettes total. I smoke them because I want to not because I hold to. There are a few side affects that I don't like, however.
The medication can make you seasick if you don't eat first.
