Is there scientific evidence that proves for every cigarette you smoke a minute is taken off of your life?

I'll take the best 3 answers for this Question so give it your best answer.

Answer:
The statistic I have heard is that for every cigarette, you can take 13 minutes off your life expectancy. that's based on the average life expectancy of non-smokers minus that of smokers. it doesn't mean that you are actually reducing your own life span by the given amount. Take the basic message, that smoking is stupid, to heart.
