Hey for about 4 days i have had a pain in my ear. i dont know wat it is but i think it might be air in my ear.
I WAS THINKING ABOUT GOING TO THE DOCTOR CUZ I READ THAT THEY PUT A SYRINGE IN UR EAR AND that it helps alot. im just afraid it might hurt can anyone help plz?

Besides, if it is an infection, your ear can get damaged if you don't take care of it.
It could be water, air, or maybe an ear nerve irritation. Try to fill a sock with salt, heat it in microwave and apply to your ear. It may reduce the pain, but you should see a doc, cause irritated nerves will ache till you will not get a professional help.
Regarding the siring, the don't put it in your ear unless it is a really bad case and needs to be drained.

I think you should really see a doctor that sounds serious
You probably have an ear infection and just need antibiotics. Go to your doctor. If it already hurts pretty badly, you have nothing to lose.
go to the doctor... its probably an ear infection but the doctor doesnt hurt at all... when they help you with your ear you will be so greatful
To see if it is just air, the air ducts are located in your throat. If you can yawn a great big yawn, it may open it up. Or try holding your nose shut and build up a lot of air pressure in your throat / lungs - you should feel the air press into your ear - then release it and yawn - and hopefully it will pop.
If these dont work, then go see a ear, nose and throat specialist. They should be able to do something to get the pain reduced. Like others are saying, it may be an ear infection - which is really really painful.
