Adult Hiccups . . . why?
For as long as I can remember I ger the hiccups occasionally. I would say at least twice a month. But, I am an adult. I always thought this was a childhood thing. I've heard people saying, "Oh, that means she's growing." Well folks, I am grown. What how? Why do I still get the hiccups?
Answer:
Hiccups have nothing to do with age. Anyone of any age can get them. We usually hiccup when we consume a liquid (aka drink) too quickly for the body to digest.
There was a famous man who never stopped hiccuping throughout his life- he's a grownup.
