Why is it easier to fall asleep on the sofa then it is in bed?
Answer:
ya, same here, and still can't find out why.
Well, then I think that you should start sleeping on the sofa if that's the case. As long as you get a good night's sleep...
at sleep your body should be strait, otherwise you will deplop body ache due to regular folding of your organ

One feel smore enclosed on a sofa than a bed , plus you are in it most of the concious day which gives you a feeling of security
Its probably because you feel most relaxed when your on your sofa. Try to use your bed only for sleeping (ie no reading in bed, doing HW/Work in bed, no watching TV in bed) as time goes by your body will get used to the fact that your supposed to be going to sleep when in bed not watching TV or doing a bit of work.
Trying some relaxation techniques (there are a million out there) might help too.
mostly because people have tv on whilst on the lounge and fall asleep whilst watching it, try doing the same for the bedroom if no tv in there put a cd on low you might find it puts you off to sleep but something relaxing, no rock music because you will find yourself trying to concentrate on the lyrics try a music only relaxing one from crystal shop.
