What is it like to be a drug addict?
Answer:
It is not pretty. You cut yourself off from family and your true friends and don't have money as you spend it all on drugs. You have trouble hanging on to a job and your are stoned all the time.
i don't know b/c i've never been one. but i'm pretty sure it feels miserable. except for the fact that you might get skinny. it could be a form of dieting.
I'm going to guess like sh*t. Except when you're high in which case you probably don't fell to much of anything.
it's a very lonely and desperate place.
although, being a drug addict is one thing. the process of coming off drugs is much, much harder than being an addict.
i always think of drug addiction as a 'symptom' rather than something in it's own right.
in other words, most addicts are usually mentally in a bad place (whether they like to admit it or not) before they start using drugs. they use drugs and all of a sudden, the feel like they're are having a great time for a change. but that great time is only temporary, until you become and addict.
i'm an ex drug addict and i wouldn't wish how i felt on anyone.
the high just wasn't worth the years of my life i've lost.
