I'm super stressed.. help!?
Answer:
Why do you need to take care of your boyfriend--is he ill--unable to work--going to school full time?
If he is dragging you down, and not for a very good reason, it may be time to change your way of thinking about him.
-Stop using caffeine (at least after lunch)
-Drink Chamomile Tea, and Sleepytime Tea
-Walk every morning and evening--this has been proved to help prevent depression, besides the fact that it is good for you physically.
-Cut back on sugar, and sugary foods
-Use lavender candles, incense, bath & body products--for relaxation
-Meditate--or learn to from library books
-Take some 'me' time for yourself--go somewhere you enjoy--alone
-Take a mini-vacation
-You can try Sleepytime Extra Tea with Valerian, to see if you have any bad reaction to Valerian. If you don't, you can buy Valerian Root Supplement in the vitamin section of almost all stores (Walmart, supermarkets, health food stores, more).
I hope some of the above works for you, and that you will calm down.
dump the loser that's mooching off of you and use the extra money for a night out or weekend away
dump the bum and take that extra money and do something nice for yourself or put it in the bank and watch it grow thats what i like to do
First, it seems as though you have a child and not a boyfriend if you are having to take care of him. At only 19 that is young to be taking care of someone. Find someone that compliments you, can take care of himself and at times take care of you. I enjoy finding a quiet place and read, of course I am 34 with a 3 year old, very hard to find a quiet place. Try taking along hot bubble bath and relax your stress away. Maybe go get a manicure, facial, or get your hair done. That is a wonderful stress reliever for me. And pray! That helps me the most. Try helping others (not boyfriend) but the needy, helping others always gets your mind off your own problems, and may make your stress not seem as big after you see others struggling just as much or even more than you are.
Good Luck, I wish you the best.
i know how your feeling it's the same way for me but i'm only 17 not 19. i have my own house and i don't have my parents helping me either that why i'm 17 and on my own, and my boyfreind works, i just do all the house stuff. you will get through it. just take a breathe. when i get stressed i take my dog on a walk to the park and just relax, thats when no one is there. since i don't live by a ocean, i go to the lake near by and relax there. another thing is that i go tanning, usally about a 20 min realxing time!
First - why are you taking care of a boyfriend at 19???
Have you tried meditation?
