I think the person would want to be around you alot. Probably prefer being alone with you. You will expect blushing and difficulty with eye contact.
The person will prefer it if you take the initiatives. He would prefer clear signs that you are enjoying his company.
You may want to ask the person out yourself. Or make it easier for the person by initiating activities to do together.
try to be as close as possible, steal a few glances, look at the ground, not talk... Yeah all that fun stuff... And probably if he gets to the point that I used to be at and just start asking... My advice is have whoever this guy is "crushing on", ask him out... he would die... :)
