yes,defiantly
Um yes...and needs help right away. Thoseare serious cries for help, and he needs to see his doctor.
I have no idea whether such thoughts makes a man clinically depressed. I do think it's a sign that he should seek help from a mental health professional.
There is a big difference between someone wanting to hurt himself and wanting to hurt others.
I have depression, but I have no desire to hurt anyone.

The vast majority of those who say they don't want to live are suffering from deep depression, which can manifest as anger and hate, especially towards those people he considers responsible for his problems, or even other people, in general. See depression treatments and suicidal thoughts at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris... on pages 5, and 2; check out, print/copy relevant parts, and give to him, or refer him direct. He should be encouraged to seek psychotherapy.
Yes, most likely. If you are having thoughts like these then you need to tell someone. A friend, a family member, just anyone you can trust. You need to evaluate why you are having these thought too. Or meet up with a professional who can help. But try to keep positive because i promise that everything will be ok. Nothing stays bad forever, you just have to work at getting what you want. And youre not a prisioner of your circumstance. If you dont have anyone to talk to then you can just ask for my email and i will give it to you. Hope youre well.
There are types of angry depression, and rather than turn the anger inward, they turn it outward. In any case, that person should seek help.
Seung-Hui Cho, the Virginia Tech killer, in his writings indicated that he, too, was a severely disturbed man. His videos that he did suggests that this massacre was well planned out. The family said that he was very shy and never had any friends. His therapist stated on Dec. 13, 2005, that he was extremely depressed and was a threat to himself/ others but instead of hospitalizing Seung-Hui Cho, Virginia Special Justice Paul Barnett recommended that Seung be treated as an outpatient. Because of this ruling, Seung was allowed to buy firearms. This ruling also prevented the school, his family, nor the few therapists that he did go to be able to do anything to help him. Leave it to the Commonwealth of Virginia to ignore the plight of the mental ill, again.

To answer your question: "Is a man depressed if he says he doesn't want to live, and he thinks about killing people all the time?" Yes, and Seung-Hui Cho is proof.
