My cousin is parinoid, she will have nothing to do with her spouse in two months. She trusts no one. Help?

she has a composive disorder. It all started when she worked on a govermental job, and her co-worker pretended they had put something her coffee, and she thinks med research was done on her. She went to military, thinking that would help, but when she got out she was worse. She will not be able to keep a job because of her problem. How can I help my cousin. She trust no pysc doctors. What should I do?

Answer:
I don't trust psych doctors either I had a lot of problems but found nothing helpful about doctors. I spent years in care and on meds and I only got worse, but talking out what was troubling me was what almost cured all my problems. The co-worker putting something in her drink doesn't particularly sound significant enough to cause such problems. Talk to her find out what happened to her but whatever you do don't judge her make her feel that no matter what it is that she is alright now and don't share it keep her secret so she wont have to have it eating at her anymore.
Only a doctor can help her. You can just show support.
She has to deal with the people around her if she is to function. Ask her how she is going to do this for herself and what you can do to help her. Don't try to live her life for her, just encourage what she wants to do for herself and assist her in achieving that.

this is a brave and good thing you do.
