Weight gain on Cymbalta?

I have be on this drug for about 2 years, and even beside a good diet and regular excercise, I am still acquirement weight. (more than 20 pounds!) Of course this is making me depressed, so negating the drug.

Has this happened to you or anyone you know?

If so, what pills did they switch to, if they did switch?

I am just becoming extremely frustrated by this since I cannot be in need an anti-depressant for very long, and this medication works great for my depression. But if it truly is becoming the reason for my immensity gain, I need to be on something else.

Also, have anyone been on an antidepressant that hasn't cause any weight gain?

Answers:    My mother have been on it. I own not. I'm on other icky stuff. But she has have weight gain & some solidity loose. I guess it depends on the person. Tho she hasn't gain a lot. Just up & downs. Have you read the side effects on the med? You can google it or check beside the pharmacy. Hope this helps some. It's not much...
