Paxil in the morning, and drinking at night okay?
Well, it I take it early in the morning at like 7am will it be okay to start drinking at 11pm that night? Im asking because Im going out with friends on the 4th of July and plan on drinking alot. Since I took it so early in the day would it be safe to drink at night that late?

Paxil is an anti-depressant. Alcohol is a depressant. It doesn't make sense to take an anti-depressant and then drink, does it??

you can drink on paxil i did and never had any probs.
I was on Paxil for about a year. It made me sleepy. I drank a few beers now and then.

I take Zoloft (an SSRI like Paxil) and my doctor and pharmacist said to avoid alcohol with this medicine. Antidepressants and depressants (such as alcohol) don't mix. I have had a tiny bit (6-8 ounces) of wine before while taking this med and I was fine. You must use your own judgement. Just don't overdo it.
They put those warnings on the bottles for a reason. You already "plan" on drinking, so I wont try to change your mind. Be careful with yourself. You only have one brain.
Never drink at ANY time when you are taking Paxil. You are playing Russian roulette my friend. You could very easily go into heart arrest and die. Smarten up!!!!
