Why am i alarm when i try to plug something contained by close to tv?
Answers: If you've ever hear it spark when you put the plug in slowly consequently it might well be cause by that fear.
I've have a fear of it for years, but that be caused by connecting myself to the 240v D supply once and trying to break the high bound record. :-)
I would and so treat it with respect, but plugs are designed so that it's pretty tricky for you to electrocute yourself especially in the UK (the black bit on the pins insultates) and elsewhere you're single on 110v which isn't quite as dodgy.
Just make sure you hold it by the plastic bit and it can't impair you.
