Perfectionisim?

I've looked this up, so many sites, I want help over-coming it. My perfectionism often attacks the things I love to do: Hobbies. From relaxation and enjoyment becomes my burden and dread. I need steps, not basic steps, specific steps. Like using the stairs instead of the elevator to get to the floors. Its killing my enjoyment and ultimately making me depressed.

Answer:
simple...your perfectionist attitude comes from your anxiety...so yiu need to sort out the sources of your anxiety within...what makes you nervous, anxious, depressed, fearful, etc...you then need to face it...but oftentimes, the anxiety would make you run from the reality...so be careful...
It looks like it is starting to hinder your way of life. Try looking up "Obsesive compulsive disorder" or "OCD". If you need to be on medication while you figure out how best to cope with this, it's no big deal ok? Goodluck.
Hi, and this is just my opinion. There is no such thing as perfect. That is an illusion. There in no one, person, place, or thing that is perfect. You can let go of it when you let go of it. Not a minute sooner. If you don't really want to let go of it then hang on to it. I will still like you and accept you the way you are. So all you have to do now is accept your self the way you are. Deep inside you know the answer.
