Im still depressed :(?
Answer:
I think about this stuff all of the time. Usually about who will come to my funeral when I die, then I think that nobody will come so I get more depressed about it. I hate thinking about my parents dying or anybody dying, but it's hard not to think about when you hear or see people on the news or in the paper dying or getting killed everyday. It comes and goes for me. Whenever you think of it, try to occupy your mind with something else. Sometimes when I am sad I will listen to music that makes me cry to emphasize my depression more. Do you do that? If you do. stop. It doesn't help. Maybe go for a walk or see a friend. Do you have any pets? What's your favorite thing to do when you're bored? Play a game. Ride a bike. Go shopping. Eat? Unless you have problems with that. Go into a chat room, browse the internet, read a book. Write a poem. There are many things to do to get your mind off of it. You just have to be willing to do it. Sometimes, I didn't want to stop being depressed. I for some reason, liked crying and being sad and thinking about all of those things, but that never got me anywhere. Your parents are alive and well and maybe you shoudl call them and tell them you love them, or if you live with them, tell them you love them and explain how you're feeling. I do that with my mom sometimes. She just hugs me and tells me she loves me and I feel better.
did you ever try laying in a dark room with the fan or air conditioner running and laying on your bed on your back and put in a relaxation cd of just the ocean or waterfalls, something that will sooth you and help you relax. You can buy relaxation cds in any store like wal-mart and there are even web sites on the computer where you can find some. They have helped me out and it would be worth a try. Try this web site

Remember someday you will have a family of your own. You will depend less on your parents. You might be having insecurity about your family situation. If your parents allow you to, you can stay at home until you are done with some college.
I moved out at 19 and I was so busy I had no time to worry about dying...I had 3 jobs and was going to college full time. Busy busy busy bee.
oh, i wish i could just help you with everything you're going through. I think constonally and somtimes i get so depressed i just want to die. What are you thinking of? what is that one thought you hate thats bothering you? i have that same problem. If im not keeping myself busy i think of that 'thing' and it gets me so depressed. I was crying about 40 minutes ago and i honestly thought i was going to end it all. I was going to ask my to call the abulance for me. You can always call a hotline to help you out and talk to someone. Maybe you can call a help hotline whenever you think about that thing. Im going to start trying that. You can also talk to me.email me. I will not judge you at all. puppyluv255225@yahoo.com
I just wish i could be there and just let you explode all your feelings cause i know how it feels. You're not alone, love.
so i just read your last question.
Here some advice, you cant stop anyone from dieing. dieing is a part of life and no matter what i going to happen. The only way your parents are going to die is of old age. Dont worry about it, hun. Your parents are going to pass away when its time. dont think negativly. They will die of old age, not of an illness such as cancer or a car accident.
You worry to much over something you have no control over. Just accept that someday, you are going to lose the people you love, and someday, the people who love you are going to lose you. If you spend your time worrying about death and dying your going to miss out on alot of the good things and times life has to offer. Death comes for everybody. Get over it, because you can't stop the natural cycle of life.
It may be time to see a doctor to discuss your situation. You may need antidepressants.
Sweetie, I'm so so sorry this is happening! Sweetie, are you alright? It sounds like your really really sad. Maybe your thinking to much because I know when I think too much, I start thinking of really sad things because I'm not occupying myself. I can understand how you feel because I had similar thoughts. Try to do something like that you really like based on your interests. If you like watching movies or painting, you should occupy yourself with these activities. If these thoughts do not go away soon and your still crying, I think you might need a counselor and a psychiatrist. This might be symptoms of depression like thinking thoughts about death and dying and crying . A counselor can help you with giving you coping strategies on how to deal with these thoughts and how to deal with other emotional and/or physical pain that you might be experiencing. A psychiatrist can get you on a successful treatment plan and help you with your recovery so that you can feel better. Also, if you want to research some of the symptoms and treatments of depression (you can check out these websites if you want to)

I know what it's like to be depressed and I imagine so do many others do in this forum. My depression was brought on by some medical problems that I have. I have taken medication...still taking one. I have tried meditation, yoga, and psychotherapy. I am still depressed and it has actually gotten worse over the past few months. When I have time to myself, I try to make sure I do something that makes me happy. This always helps me forget my issues for a little while. I still believe that things will change for the better. Like anything else, you have to work hard to make it better.
