I am surrounded by a vastly wide depression - what can i do to oblige myself grasp out of it?

I am starting wellbutrin xl today - but what else can i do to help aid contained by my recovery? I also hold PTSD (I was raped 7 years ago - but I am really working through it now) I consistency as if I am in a hole and it is easier not to try to climb out. I consistency SO tired and sleepy all the time. I hold a hard time forcing myself to shift outside. I am also hungry all the time and never have a feeling full enough. I hold never been this low beforehand and it scares me. I freshly want to be left alone and sleep adjectives day. I am contained by Therapy and everything and I am starting the meds today - but what are some good tips that I can do to oblige myself more? Before I was close to this I was going to the gym everyday and have plenty of energy.

any relief would be great - personal experience also is a great help

I was contained by a deep depression and did not do all right on antidepressants. I sympathize with you because it really sucks when you don't hold the energy to take up and brush your teeth. I went through analysis and yes it did get worse beforehand it got better, but eventually you can quality yourself coming out of the fog.

Things that helped me are; I would turn on my favorite upbeat songs (the ones that craft you happy), I also went for long walk . I don't know your situation,, but I was lucky within that my husband would go beside me. Although it may be really hard to do at this point within your recovery count your blessings. It may not grain like you hold anything to be thankful for, but you do.

Most considerable remember this too shall pass and you will discern better and become a stronger person because of it or contained by spite of it however you want to see it.

I understand what you are going through, be there myself, but you are on the right track, hold going and it will get better.
Been at hand, done that. Get out & get some fresh nouns. Exercise is great for depression. Make yourself do it!! Take a hot bath next to candles & soft music. Go see a comedy. Remember----it could always be worse! Stay focused on convalescing & the meds will help!

you stipulation to schedule an appointment beside a counselor! this seriously helps when you articulate to somebody who doesn't know you and doesn't know your past. they really sort through your issues to receive you back on the right track.

From my personal experience, I too acquire depressed and suffer with a great deal of similar symptoms as you do, but I decided to never use medication. By no funds am I suggesting the same to you, some populace just own to have pills. Now when I get depressed I simply look at brighter side of things in life span. Trust me there is seriously to be thankful for. Studying Buddhism help me quite closely. Also try to concentrate on things that you are passionate going on for, that will take your mind of your depressive condition. I choice you good luck and stay positive.
i figure out how your feeling at the moment, my cousin go throught the same entry years ago. I;m sorry to hear that you were raped, mabye you should try and do something you similar to doing best and spend time with friends and loved ones and then hopefully you will catch through this.
carry on what you are doing at the moment and don't drink get-up-and-go drinks like Red Bull, they contain caffeine and they will kind you even more depressed.

I am in a similar rut (hole) basically like you and started taking prozac yesterday. I've be on these kind of meds since and worked my way out near various things. First, try not to be alone. It other helps me to speak to someone whether it's about what is making me upset or a short time ago talking roughly speaking stuff...trees, books, travel, etc. I don't know what kind, if any condition insurance you have but I use Value Options. If this is of no help to you, try contacting your local DES (Department of Economic Security) Office for resources.
Also, most employer offer the benefit of EAP (Employee Assistance Program), which is also a moral resource for ways to help verbs you from that traitorous monster that loiters in your mind.
Contrary to what you've probably hear, sunshine can actually be severely beneficial for depression, (assuming no specific health conditions/ prescriptions that recommend you to avoid direct sunlight). Moderation is 'key', not only near sunlight but with everything.
You might consider writing when you can't settle. I find that writing helps me abundantly (journal, diary, letters). If you're angry with someone, write them a notification and say exactly what you think/ touch -But Dont Send It ! After you write whatever you agree on to write, read it. This will help clarify if your thoughts & mood come from what is truely bothering you or if it's coming from momentary emotions.
I know that when you are so down within the dumps, NOTHING seems worth trying, but don't endow with up. I still have a feeling like that sometimes...exercise is pious, doing things that make you chirpy and have a positve attitude, report to yourself that it will get better...within is this book its called something close to the 7 habits of (something) its popular and it help with depression.
