Exercise is a good cure for depression. If you find that the depression is seasonal, man under sunlight or even a bright oil lamp for 15 minutes may help. If it's at hand to you, good sex may also aid you to feel better.
Sleep deprevation works for me. I attain 3-5 hours of sleep, otherwise I feel resembling crap. Try it for a couple nights, you might be surprised or it may put together things worse. Worth a try though, right? Other than that, I like to play loud music, next to earphones for the sake of others, find a friend that I can chat beside pointlessly, girls are better for that, and find something that makes you consistency more in control, for me that's Earl Grey tea beside loads of sugar and singing badly to the radio.
