How do i know if my boyfriend is a heroin addict?

signs can be mood swings, dilated pupils, general behavoiur. is he scting differently? also, if he's injecting, you should be able to see litle marks or bruising where hes injected
If he starts to physically get sick when he doesnt have the drug he is an addict
It's hard to tell, could there be other reasons he's acting different?

The tell tale signs are either pin pricks in his arms, or legs or even feet ?.
Silver foil, burnt spoons and needles laying around.
Very small pupils.
Head always hanging as if were asleep.
Loss of appetite

My brother was an addict and he had all these signs !.
Don't even try. Just get rid of him. Its not worth it. If he is an addict he'll ruin your life. If he's just being a huge Tool. he'll ruin your life. Either way Dump his BUTT!!

i was a heroin user for 9 yrs,and i know a thing a 2 about heroin and its behaviour,does he steal your money/possesions,is he always asking you for money? have you found any burnt tinfoil around the house? any needles? any spoons that are burnt? is he always falling asleep? is he aggresive?
if you want to find out? Just stay with him non stop and neverleting him out of your plain view site for oh say 24 hrs lol if hes a junkie? he wont even last that long w/o having to use~ some cant go for over 2 hrs w/o a trip to the needle~
I suspect that you are aware of some if not all of the symptoms mentioned by others ,including experts,on here and that you were hoping that some one would say you were overreacting.This is not meant as a criticism,it is understandable that you do not want to believe what is really staring you in the face.The only solution I can see is finish with him or at least give yourself some space.I would guess that eventually you will find out somehow.
If you think he is an addict, he probably is. Your denial makes it harder to see his addiction' "love" makes us blind to the faults of our love interest. If his behavior has broken through your denial, he likely has a huge problem.
Confronting him is a waste of time. He is not your husband. Leaving him is the best move. He won't change for you. Berating him won't help. Don't try to "fix" him. Move on. "Fixing" him will take years if it is at all successful. Meanwhile, while you are fixing him, you are missing out on all the decent men who don't need fixing.
Move on.
