For me it meant that I went from having a pretty good appetite for loving to having absolutely no desire at all.
Different pills have different side effects. Zoloft takes your drive way down, if not to nothing then close to it.
yes there are.different antidepressants have different side effects. I realize that is probably not as specific as you may have wanted but if you are taking a certain drug and have questions about it, ask a pharmacist. They could answer any question you may have.
G'Day Rob S,
Yes!.. unfortunately there are, but they vary person to person, they can be loss of libido, sexual dysfunction, mood swings (happy to a feeling of foreboding) this can indicate a re-assessment of the medication or the amount you are taking. But in the long run it is good I suffer from sever depression and have for several years, once my medication balance was found I feel good most of the time and not much gets me down anymore, stick with it, it is worth it.
sometimes I get the feeling I dont want to have sex when im on my meds..but i do it because its not fair to my husband
Sometimes...you become the Marathon Man, but in a bad way. You wont finish, cant, impossible no matter how bad you ..do what cha do.

Obviously, just bring it up w/ ur dr. he wont care trust me.
Everyone reacts differently to medications. There are sexual side effects from some antidepressants. Generally they are mild and may include (in the male) delayed ejacultaion. The thing to remember is that everyone is different with respect to side effects. If you have some that are particularly bothersome then speak to your physician. Oftentimes changing dosages can alleviate many of these. Best wishes
omg yes --- you would be hard pressed to find any meds for moods or depression that dont have sexual side effects
Yes. With all mood-altering drugs, there is a possibility of sexual side effects.
Yes, especially with antidepressants, they can impair your sexual desire. Talk to your doctor and he will be able to figure out what meds are right for you and the possibility of adding a medication to help increase sexual stimulation.
