What stops you from committing suicide?
Answers: I have familial members who kill themselves and I see how it hurt the people around them. I assume suicide is the ultimate deed of selfishness.
I hold lived with suicidal thoughts most of my existence, but I'm 50 now so I'm probably not going to do it.
