Should I obscure my Self Injury Scars?

For five years I was a severe cutter, stopping one year ago. My moved out forearm is covered in ample dark scar that I don't think will ever shift away because of how deep they be. I really want to know if you think I should other cover them with long sleeves or agree to them show? Please help this is unbelievably important to me... Thanks so much


Answers:    congrats on the one year. i don't know you but i am proud of you. it take a lot to stop doing something that make every thing seem so much better. I would not hide my scar but if they bother you i would. you could wear short sleeves for one day and see what happen, if you don't like the result of nation or how you felt afterwards i would try something else. Have you looked into plastic surgery, they may be able to oblige in some process, to make you comfortable.
