I'm about to start taking Efexor XD for anxiety and depression. anyone with bad side effects?

Side effects are not inevitable, but they must list them so they don't get sued. It's worth starting the Effexor to see how your body reacts to it. I took it for several months before we decided it wasn't helping my depression. During that time I became very spacy, to the point where I'd almost get lost driving home, and every time we increased the dose I'd tremble that whole day, and I lost a lot of weight because I couldn't bring myself to eat much since I had no appetite.
It all depends on the person. I have no side effects from my current meds.
it will work but you must take it at the same time every day. its up to you to find out if you will get side effects and then weigh up if the benefits out weigh the side effects. take it for six weeks if you don't like it come off it with your doctors advice it can make you feel like your heart will pump out of your body which is why you should take it at the same time every day.
It can make your jumping or feel bad. But all medications have side effects, some are worse on some people than others. Notice how you feel when you start taking it and if anything different happens, let your dr know. Take in morning, can be hard to sleep if taking late in the day
Medications have never treated depression. find the cause of your depression and take care of it. Getting healthy food like fruits , vegetable , juices. Get plenty sleep. Exercise.
And above all think POSITIVE. Never heard of the "Secret"?
Thinking positive about your life will bring positive affects to it.
Take plenty mineral especially magnesium. And don't get into that medication too long.

You won't find many side effects taking Effexor, it's coming off the drug. However, everyone is different, and you might find it perfect for you.listen to your doctor.
