Will biking 12 miles in the morning before i eat burn fat for me?
Answer:
your body will actually burn less calories because its still in sleeping/calories saving mode.
breakfast is what makes your body start working and burning calories.
have at least a piece of whole wheat toast before working out because doing it on empty stomach can lead to many health problems including diabetes
ya that should do it. but if u can i would say bike after breakfast (not right after though or else u'll get a cramp) so that why u'll burn the fat/calories in ur breakfast instead of letting them turn to body fat.
Probably would...but could also cause you to pass out from not having enough energy. I'd say eat breakfast then bike 30 or so minutes later, so that you have SOME energy to burn...all your previous calories have been burned during the night while you slept and fasted. And take water with you...it's hot out!
Biking anytime is a terrific way to exercise. As for losing weight, well that requires careful consideration. Like, the quality and quantity of food you consume. Two slices of buttered toast, eggs fried sunny side up, bacon or ham, and a cup of sugared coffee will just make your cycling effort become a waste of time. Cut your food intake drastically, THEN the cycling effort will kick in. What to eat? Ask Yahoo for dieting tips. The web is full of great free information. Yeah, it all boils down to will power. Mike
You are only 16 you still have time to grow into your skin. I wouldn't worry about the wieght distribution until you get older.
You could loose 15 pounds or more if you bike as much as you say. I see one problem though! you may not make it two months because your body will not have enough energy and you will burn yourself out. YOU MUST EAT BREAKFAST!
Think of your body as a furnace, you need fuel! You slept for at least 8 hours prior to biking. The first thing you body should get when you wake up is a surge of food or you will loose MUSCLE and not FAT.
Eat first then bike and then drink a recovery drink. Basically cut your breakfast in half right before and after your workout.
