My husband is 42 and can last 15 to 20 minutes during actual intercourse is that about average?
Answer:
yes this is the average.
men normally last for about 20 minnutes...
whereas women slightly longer...
i m 48 and go all night still with encores...but i do yoga and work out and watch diet
i got an even better one for you, i don't know how long the aver. is me and my husband last for one to three hours. i love it!!!!!!
he is good with that period in this age
Maybe it's just me, but I'm off the mind that a man should be able to last indefinately. I think most guys could only "last" so long because they're impatient rather than having premature ejeculation or something along those lines. If he's lasting more than 5-10 minutes it is probably a psychological thing, retaining interest, being rushed to finish, etc. It's simple enough to manage- if you are too close to climax, you stop with the intense penile stimulation and move onto something less for a while.
I could definately see the ability to get an erection and go at it again as more of a limiting factor, especially as men get older and less fit.
I've the opposite problem. My wife prefers to be a bit more quick and animalistic, where I like the slow, languid, ramping up slowly sort of lovemaking. Sex for too long starts to get boring... sort of how a lot of men are, I imagine!
If he would give it a try, he'd most likely enjoy it- orgasms are a lot more intense the longer you draw it out. There's no reason for sex to be identical every time- sometimes it is 2 hours on a hot and lazy Sunday afternoon, falling half-asleep sometimes, sometimes it is 5 minute quickies where you didn't even get started. It doesn't take any fancy techniques, exercises, pills, yoga, meditation, etc. Depending on how (for lack of a better word) selfish his style of sex is, you might have to be the one exerting the influence, perhaps moving to a less stimulating position for him (e.g. woman on top), etc.
yeah, takes a bit longer afterwards with each repeated intercourse
