What kind of doctors do you have? It's probably a urinary tract infection. Why would they even think STDs first?
There are a lot of diseases and infections that could cause this. I dont know a lot about penile problems(even though I am a man), but blood in urine may not have anything to do with his penis. It may be more internal, like his bladder or kidneys. It is most likely his kidneys, in which case he would most likely be diagnosed with kidney disease.
That can be a few things, but all are treatable with antibiotic.
An advanced bladderinfection can result in painful urination with blood in the urine or a kidney problem can show the same results, because the kidneys and bladder work together. I do not understand why he did not get tested for this right away. Since bladder infections can travel into the kidneys and the result is extremely painful would I recommend to go back to a doctor in a hurry and have the doctor test all possibilities. Good luck..
he could have a cut inside his penis that would explain the pain and the bleeding. or it could have something to do with his bladder...
