First of all in order to have the instintual drive to have sex; your body has to be able to make sperm. Without that function the body wouldn't have the drive to procreate; which is what sex was intended for by nature.
so no makey sperm=no sex drive.

How do you know you're not making sperm? Do you check your **** with a microscope?
sperm is microscopic so you cannot tell if you are making any or not unless you have a microscope or the doctor has a sperm count done on you...You must mean that you are not producing semen yet...or none has come out yet..semen is nutrients plus sperm cells. I would think that if you do not know the difference yet, then you are a bit young (young teen) and though your curiosity and your question is valid...I would stick to having a gf at the moment to hold hands, watch a movie, study, hang out, possibly kiss, but don't move on to second or third base..enjoy your youth..

you can have sex whenever you would like...but like a person before said...most likely if you have a sex drive, you are able to make sperm and there is no contraceptive out there that is 100% safe...you are ALWAYS at risk for STDs and babies...so if you do decide to have sex...you need to wear a condom (you can buy them from the store, there is no age restriction on protection like alot of teenagers think)
