womwn's shavers are better than men's shavers the 5 bladers are great. if you are a newbie change shaving cream I use hair conditioner to shave my head, do not shave up or you will grow a really fluffy beard homeless looking.
always use a sharp razor
i shave upwards. you dont have to worry about a homless looking beard if you dont grow it out. i shave up and its smooth as a baby's bottom, like it was waxed. the easiest way is to shave your regular way then after that shave your face again but go upwards. make sure you wet the razor before doing this. i use the 5-bladed gilette (i forgot the name). if you do it right you be smooooth. trust me
try using a hot water towel on your face just before shaving. I use Gillette Sensor and when I shave I first shave upwards then downwards...try that...good luck ... ;)
shave down first then go against the grain (going up)
Start off with a warm towel, and place it over your face. Let your face soak up all the heat, this makes the pores open up on your face so you can cut more of the hair than normal, use warm shaving cream, then use a sharp, new razor. Use different strokes, or whatever works best for your face. Finish it off with a few splashes of cool water to help close up the pores, and then apply a decent after-shave. This makes your face as smooth as a babies butt.
